Welcome to Whitehaven Woods Rabbitry!
We are a very small scale family run rabbitry. We started out raising Holland Lops, Lionheads, and Mini Lops. As we gained experience, we began to focus on Mini Lops. We found them to be the most laid back and reliably good natured. Their temperaments make for delightful pets.
We have raised Mini Lops for the last couple years and continue to do so. All of our Mini Lops are fully pedigreed and from great lines. Thanks to Michele Alvarez for helping me get started in raising Mini Lops and kindly answering my questions!
We started our rabbitry as a family hobby. We are a homeschooling family and I thought it would be something that would be both enjoyable and educational for our three daughters to undertake with me. I will fully admit that I am the one that enjoys it the most!
We are thankful for the 3 1/2 acre haven in Elkhart, Indiana that the Lord has blessed us with.
