Taking Your Rabbit Home

Preparing for Your New Rabbit:
You will be emailed a list of supplies you will need & helpful basic care information before you pickup your rabbit. Please buy needed supplies before you come pick up your rabbit. It will cause less stress to your rabbit if you can go directly home.

Taking your Rabbit home:
You will need to bring cash to pay the purchase price of your rabbit. If you have already payed a deposit you will need to bring the remainder of the purchase amount.

Bring something to transport your rabbit home in. If at all possible bring a carrier, as this provides good ventilation and latches securely. A small cat carrier with an old towel inside is a good option. If using a cardboard box it is important to cut some opening areas in the box to allow good ventilation. Also keep in mind they will likely potty in it. You will want to have newspaper or an old towel in the box. I suggest (from experience!) a plastic bag around the bottom of the box to prevent any leaks!

I will provide you with a small bag of transition pellet food when your rabbit goes home with you.  If you will be using a brand of feed other than Kent, gradually transition adding the new brand of feed with what I give you.
