Anyone purchasing a rabbit from our rabbitry must be 18 years or older or accompanied by an adult/guardian.
We recommend rabbits for responsible, gentle children ages 10+. Any child younger should have adult supervision and assistance in caring for their rabbit. This is for both the rabbit’s safety and the child’s. We strive to raise laid back, good natured rabbits. Please keep in mind each rabbit has its own personality and tolerance level.
Mini Lop Prices:
All of our Mini Lops are fully pedigreed and from good show lines.
The prices will vary, ranging from $45 - $60, depending on type, color, & if pedigree certificate is desired or if pet only.
**Please note: We do not accept personal checks. Payments can be made in cash or via paypal.
Reserving a Rabbit/ Deposit Info.
Rabbits will not be sold before 8 weeks of age.
If you would like to reserve a Mini Lop rabbit, we take reservation deposits when Mini Lops are around 5-6 weeks of age.
Reservation deposits can be done via cash or paypal. The deposit does go towards the purchase price. Once you have paid the deposit this rabbit will be reserved for you and a pick up date will set. You will pay the remainder of the purchase price when picking up your rabbit. Your deposit is NOT refundable. Should you choose to not get the rabbit on the scheduled pick up date the rabbit will then immediately become available for others to purchase.
I will have each of the rabbits gender identified to the best of my ability before we begin taking deposits. Please know that sometimes it is harder than other times to be certain of the gender at a young age. We cannot guarantee it.
Deposit fee: 50% of purchase price, unless other amount agreed upon (remainder of purchase price due when the rabbit goes home).
Health and Return Policies:
We take excellent care of our rabbits and will not knowingly sell you a rabbit that is unhealthy. Please look over the rabbit thoroughly before taking it home. We want you to inspect the rabbit personally and only purchase if it meets your satisfaction. We do not offer refunds once a rabbit has been purchased. We will consider taking a rabbit back if desired (if we have space available), however you would not receive a refund.
Show Quality Disclaimer:
We cannot guarantee how a rabbit will place in a show. They have been classified as showable due to the consistent showable quality of their ancestry lines and due to being free of any known disqualifications at the time of sale. We personally do not have experience showing. You are welcome to arrange to bring someone with experience judging show rabbits along with you to evaluate available rabbits and decide for yourself before reserving one. Should any disqualifications occur as the rabbit matures Whitehaven Woods Rabbitry will not be held responsible. If you would like to know some of the lines that our pedigreed rabbits come from, please feel free to inquire.
Pedigree Name & Assigned Ear Number Policy:
All of our rabbits sold with a pedigree will have been given a pedigree name that will begin with the prefix of "Whitehaven's" followed by a name we have given them. They will also have an ear number assigned to them on their pedigree certificate. The pedigree prefix, name, and assigned ear number cannot be changed. You may give the rabbit a nickname of whatever you like but this does not change the pedigree name that is to be used in showing or documentation in any breeding program.
Some of our older rabbits are already tattooed, younger rabbits will not be. If a rabbit has not been tattooed when it leaves our rabbitry and you tattoo it later it needs to be tattooed in the left ear with the ear number assigned on the pedigree. This keeps pedigrees accurate and eliminates confusion.
It is considered unethical to alter a rabbit's pedigree or to have it tattooed with a number different than what was assigned on the pedigree. The only thing that can be added to the pedigree certificate is the rabbit's Sr. weight if they were sold as a Junior and therefore the weight was not included.
If for any reason you think there was a mistake made on the pedigree certificate you must get written permission from Whitehaven Woods Rabbitry before making a correction.
We thank you in advance for respecting this policy.
