:) Her litter arrived on day 30 last time. She is a solid black and she was bred to Whitehaven's Mango, a fawn. Both are fully pedigreed and have a nice temperament. Spirit's Scarlet has good overall body type and I love Whitehaven's Mango's head. Looking forward to seeing their litter.

Good sign of more Mini Lops to arrive soon!
Today is day 28 for Spirit's Scarlet. I put the nest box in and some hay. Within a few minutes she started haystaching. :) Her litter arrived on day 30 last time. She is a solid black and she was bred to Whitehaven's Mango, a fawn. Both are fully pedigreed and have a nice temperament. Spirit's Scarlet has good overall body type and I love Whitehaven's Mango's head. Looking forward to seeing their litter.

Miss Maggie getting ready for her litter!
Update: 7/10
Last night and this morning Maggie has been pulling fur. We are anticipating kits to arrive in the next 24 hours!

Miss Maggie has been getting ready for her soon to come litter! She has been getting hay all situated in the next box. She is 31 days along today but usually goes a couple days late. We are anxiously awaiting.
Her pedigree name is Bauer's Fullhouse. She was bred to Spirit's Thor (aka Hawthorne).

New litters coming! Two does haystaching tonight!
Tonight both Miss Magnolia (Bauer's Fullhouse) and Violet were busy getting their nest boxes filled with hay. Violet also already began pulling fur! Some new bunnies should be arriving in the next couple days!
Miss Lily's (WolfSong's B3A) litter will be 5 weeks old tomorrow. They are growing fast and doing great.
I'll post some updated pictures of them in the next day or two!

Update on Miss Maggie
Update on the update:
Sad news: Late last night to my surprise I came out to the rabbitry to find Miss Maggie had indeed kindled. Very sad to say this delivery/litter did not go well. There were 4 delivered but none made it. I'm guessing since she kindled late, for her, maybe they were a bit large and caused a difficult delivery. I was up until 2:00 a.m. trying to help one survive. I'm hoping Lily kindles safely in one week and we still get some kits from our show quality line this month.

I know some have been following waiting for an update on Miss Maggie (aka Bauer's Fullhouse) and her anticipated litter. Well, the reason there has been nothing posted is because there has yet to be a litter born.
At this point I am starting to wonder. It's only day 32 of her pregnancy but she is known for usually kindling on day 30. I am not entirely ruling out the possibility of her still being pregnant (with the seriousness and eagerness with which she got right to work preparing the nest box still in mind). However, I am wondering if there is a chance it was a false pregnancy or for some reason it naturally terminated. I will post any updates!
I hope she still surprises us with a litter. If not we will give her a couple weeks and then breed her to Mr. Hawthorne (aka Spirit's Thor).
On a positive note, we did breed Lily (WolfSongs B3A) to Hawthorne in February. So, we still have a good chance for some Mini Lop kits born this month with good show quality potential. If their breeding was successful she'd be due a week from tomorrow.

Multiple litters expected in coming month!
If you are looking to add a rabbit to your family this winter please check back here in the next month for rabbit birth announcements! We are hoping for multiple litters before Thanksgiving 2014! They will be weaned and ready for their new homes at the end of January.
