Lily and Hawthorne's kits turn 8 weeks old this weekend and are ready for new homes!

These rabbits make great pets and are also a good choice for someone wanting to get started in showing in 4H.
This video was taken of the litter today!

Pardon the background noise!  The adult rabbits were being active in their cages close by too!

Update on Pedigreed Mini Lop Kits

We will begin taking reservation deposits on Lily's (WolfSong's B3A) pedigreed litter this weekend.
They will be 5 weeks old.  $25 holds a rabbit until 8 weeks.  At 8 weeks you pick up the rabbit and pay the remaining $25 towards the purchase price.
I got a picture of 3 of them today.  I'll post a picture of the whole litter tomorrow or Saturday.

This is Miss Maggie's (Bauer's Fullhouse) current litter. They are almost 7 weeks old.
They are all reserved and going to their new homes in a couple weeks.

 

 

Lily's Mini Lop Kits - photos at 10 days

This photo was taken yesterday of  Lily & Hawthorne's 10 day old Mini Lop kits.

Lily is taking great care of them.  Yesterday one had its eyes open already.

Now you can clearly see the difference in the ones that are chestnut and the ones that are black.

2 day old Mini Lops

Lily's kits are 2 days old today.
Though at first glance most would think this is a litter that has 6 black rabbits, the three on the left are Chestnut Agouti (like their Daddy).  They have pink in their ears and pink bellies.

Haystaching! Another litter of Mini Lops should arrive in next 48 hours.

We are very happy to see Lily (WolfSong's B3A) getting her nest ready this morning!
My daughter Audrey got this great photo of her with her mouth full of hay.  My youngest daughter reached in to give her a petting and she plopped down to take a rest and enjoy the attention.

New kits are likely to arrive anytime between now and Sunday.
I'll  post an update when they arrive.
She was bred to Hawthorne (Spirit's Thor).  They had 6 in their last litter.

Here is Maggie & Hawthorne's current litter.
They are 3 days old today.

They are doing great and oh so cute!

New litter of Mini Lops arrived early this morning!

Maggie's litter finally arrived in the early morning hours today!  We are very thankful for 4 healthy, wiggly kits.

She actually delivered 6 kits.  The first one at around 3:00 a.m. Unfortunately it was small and dead upon arrival.  Just before 5:00 a.m. she had the other 5.  One of those 5 was much larger than the others and did not survive kindling.

Sweet Hawthorne (aka Spirit's Thor), was so cute to watch.  He kept peering over his feeder watching as Maggie kindled (delivered) their young.

Last night and this morning Maggie has been pulling fur.  We are anticipating kits to arrive in the next 24 hours!

Miss Maggie  has been getting ready for her soon to come litter!  She has been getting hay all situated in the next box.  She is 31 days along today but usually goes a couple days late. We are anxiously awaiting.

Her pedigree name is Bauer's Fullhouse.  She was bred to Spirit's Thor (aka Hawthorne).

Meadow is going to her new home!

I'm happy to say a family is very excited to be coming to get this gal this afternoon.  I can tell she will be very well cared for!

This update is for those looking to purchase a Mini Lop rabbit later this summer.
Both Lily (aka WolfSongs B3A) & Maggie (aka Bauer's Fullhouse) were  bred to Hawthorne (Spirit's Thor) today.

Both does should be due to kindle around July 9th.  We will be taking reservation deposits mid- August and kits would be ready for new homes very early September 2015.

These will be pedigreed kits from our show lines.
