Retiring this sweet buck! Looking for good pet home!

I'm retiring this sweet buck. He's fathered most of the litters at our rabbitry and I've been so pleased with him.  Many that follow our site have a kit that he fathered.  He's shy until he knows you, but once he's acquainted, he loves to be pet and get attention.
He is only 3 1/2 years old and has not had any health issues whatsoever.  He has never sprayed once while here at our rabbitry.  He's got such a sweet, chubby face.

I'd love to find him an indoor home where he can be spoiled with attention.
He has not been around young children so I am desiring a home with older responsible children, or a companion for adults.

** Please note: if you are purchasing specifically for showing in 4h the solid colors in this litter would be what you'd want to look at.  The brokens in this litter (white with another color) do not have enough color (therefore called "charlies") to be shown.  However, if you are looking for a pet or for brood quality, any in the litter could be a good option.

Sprit's Scarlet's 2 kits - photos!

I think Mini Lop kits are the cutest between 3 - 4 weeks old.
Scarlet's two kits are at that age right now.  They will be 4 weeks old on Wed.

One of my daughters took these cute photos of one of the 10 day old Mini Lops out of Spirit's Scarlet & Spirit's Thor (aka Hawthorne).   This is a chestnut agouti Mini Lop.

New litter of Mini Lops in about one week!

We are anticipating a new litter of Mini Lops in about one 1 week!

Spirit's Scarlet was bred to Spirit's Thor at the end of May.
This is the first time for this pairing.
Both of these rabbits are from great show lines and have great body type.
They also both have good temperaments.

Updated Photos Daisy's Litter - 5 weeks

These photos were taken today of Daisy's pet quality litter of Mini Lops.
They will be 5 weeks old tomorrow and we will be taking reservation deposits at that time.
There are 3 people on the wait list that are first in line.  As they choose I will indicate under photos which ones are reserved.  I have identified genders to the best of my ability at this age.  Please see under each photo.

Deposit is $20 with the remaining $20 doe at pick up at 8 weeks.

The Boys

A couple recent photos of our boys at the rabbitry.

This is Spirit's Thor aka Hawthorne.  He is the poppa to most of our litters.  He's a big boy, at the upper end of the range for Mini Lops.  He has good overall type, a great head, AND he is so sweet and well behaved. He has multiple Grand Champions in his lines.

He is out of Spirit's Thor (above) and Bauer's Fullhouse (aka Miss Maggie).

Introducing Whitehaven's Simon

This is the one sweet kit that survived Miss Maggie's (Bauer's Fullhouse) kindling in December.
Miss Maggie is such a sweet doe and from great pedigree lines (West, WolfSong, and Desurra to name some).  She was shown in her younger days and won Best of Variety & Best of Breed.
For these reasons, we have really wanted to keep her pedigree line going.  So, we introduce her son "Whitehaven's Simon".  We will be keeping  him to be one of our breeding bucks.
He looks to have good type and markings.  We think he is adorable.  Since he was the only one in the litter to survive, he has been fostered to Lily.  She is taking care of him as her own.

Violet's litter - New Mini Lop photos!

Violet's litter is 7 1/2 weeks old and will be ready to go to their new homes later in the week.

Lily's Litter ~ One week old Mini Lops

Here are a couple updated photos of Lily & Hawthorne's litter.
They turned a week old yesterday.
We will be taking reservation deposits on this litter around January 20th.
They are a fully pedigreed litter, from show lines.
$25 deposit at 5 weeks and remaining $25 due at pick up at 8 weeks.

This litter of 6 arrived yesterday afternoon.  We were in the rabbitry when they were born and this photo was taken right after they arrived.  They will look MUCH cuter in a few days! :)

We have fostered Maggie's one surviving kit to Lily.  She had 7 in her last litter so she will do just fine with this extra addition.  It's hard for one lone kit to stay warm in a nest box, so it is better off joining the other litter.

Special Delivery!

We are still awaiting Lily's litter.  They are due today.  She's been pulling fur and getting ready.

However, we did have someone arrive yesterday out of Miss Maggie (Bauer's Fullhouse)!
This sweet little one was born around 5:15 p.m. yesterday.

We kept quiet about this breeding as we did not know what the outcome would be.
Maggie only had one kit in her last litter and it did not live.
Maggie is such a sweetheart and getting a little older.  We have always wanted to keep one of her offspring to keep her pedigree line and great traits going.  Therefore, my husband thought we should breed her one last time.  Well, 3 were born yesterday.  Only this one was alive.  This little one looks just like her and is so far doing well.  Maggie did not labor long this time and is doing well also.
