Mini Lop Kits - One Week Photos

I just took these photos this evening.
They will officially turn one week old in the night/early morning hours of Thursday.
These are out of Violet & Henry.

We will be taking reservation deposits when they are 5 weeks old.
You can email us if you'd like to be notified when we are taking the reservations.

Violet & Henry's litter - Kit Photos

Mini Lop Litter Update:
This photo was taken yesterday of Violet and Henry's litter of 7.

Their fur is starting to come in.  Two Tri Color in the litter and it looks like a lot of Harlequins.
They are all doing great.

New litter of Mini Lops just arrived!

I woke up in the night around 2:00 a.m. and decided to go out to the rabbitry and see if Violet had started pulling fur.  Much to my delight she was resting calmly at the front of her cage with her nest box full of fur in the rear of the cage.

Looking closer I discovered 7 healthy kits already had arrived and were snuggled down inside!

Great job Violet! This is her largest litter so far.  This is Henry's first litter to sire.

Haystaching! Count down begins!

I am very happy to say that Violet was haystaching tonight!  Her due date is Thursday and it appears she is getting ready.

She has hay carefully positioned in her nest box making a nice burrow.

She did not seem like she was as round as normal and I thought she must not have become pregnant.  I'm very pleased to see this behavior tonight!  She seems to be proving me wrong.

She was bred to Whitehaven's Henry.  This is the first time for him to sire a litter so we are anxious to see the outcome.

Velveteen Lop Love

I fully admit I am totally smitten with this little guy.
LionKing's Jeremie is just plain adorable and as sweet as can be.

He loves to be held and gives kisses every time he's held.
He is 10 weeks old now and growing quickly.

LionKing's Dame Marie is now 3 months old.
She is beautiful.  She is not as much of a cuddle bug as Jeremie.  She's more playful and entertaining.

They are 3 days old today.

They are doing great and oh so cute!

Update on Mini Lop Litters

Pedigreed Mini Lops:
Miss Maggie's litter of 4 kits are doing well. They just arrived very early Saturday.
They can be reserved when 5 weeks old and go to new homes at 8 weeks.

We were also hoping for a litter from Lily (WolfSong's B3A) around the same time however it is apparent the breeding was not successful.

Pet Quality Mini Lops:
Violet was bred in June and we are anticipating her litter to arrive around June 22nd. She had 6  healthy kits, of various colors in her last litter.  They can be reserved when 5 weeks old and go to new homes at 8 weeks.

New litter of Mini Lops arrived early this morning!

Maggie's litter finally arrived in the early morning hours today!  We are very thankful for 4 healthy, wiggly kits.

She actually delivered 6 kits.  The first one at around 3:00 a.m. Unfortunately it was small and dead upon arrival.  Just before 5:00 a.m. she had the other 5.  One of those 5 was much larger than the others and did not survive kindling.

Sweet Hawthorne (aka Spirit's Thor), was so cute to watch.  He kept peering over his feeder watching as Maggie kindled (delivered) their young.

Last night and this morning Maggie has been pulling fur.  We are anticipating kits to arrive in the next 24 hours!

Miss Maggie  has been getting ready for her soon to come litter!  She has been getting hay all situated in the next box.  She is 31 days along today but usually goes a couple days late. We are anxiously awaiting.

Her pedigree name is Bauer's Fullhouse.  She was bred to Spirit's Thor (aka Hawthorne).

Jeremie's 8 week weigh in

LionKing Jeremie, our blue otter Velveteen Lop buckling, turned 8 weeks old on Monday.
He weighed in just over 2 pounds.  He has been gaining quickly since he arrived.
He is just plain adorable!

He is just as sweet as he is cute!

Last Mini Lop from Violet's litter sold!

This sweet buckling is heading to his new home this evening!

We are anticipating a litter or two of Mini Lops to arrive in the next week.

They would be available for deposit/reservation mid-August.

Meadow is going to her new home!

I'm happy to say a family is very excited to be coming to get this gal this afternoon.  I can tell she will be very well cared for!

She was bred to Spirit's Thor (aka Hawthorne).
She had 6 healthy kits in her last litter.
















A couple days later we hope for a litter from Bauer's Fullhouse (aka Miss Maggie).
Both of these litter will be pedigreed rabbits from show lines.
